Thanks to everyone who attended our Market Update seminar last week. We’ve received some very positive feedback about the presentation – we’re glad you found it useful.
Next week we’re holding another financial planning seminar in conjunction with some other financial planners in Adelaide. We have three seats left at this seminar for our clients or anyone else who is interested in attending.
Here’s the outline of the two presentations we’ll be hearing:
As we emerge from one of the biggest shocks global equity markets have endured in recorded history, it is as important as ever for you to be able to identify the opportunities and risks in today’s markets.
Find out how to create investment opportunities in 2010, learn from the lessons of the Global Financial Crisis and how our addiction to debt impacts today’s society and those of our future generations.
Economic update
Investment strategies you need to know for a new decade. Developed by Colonial First State’s Investment Markets Research team, this presentation aims to address some of the common economic questions we have received. It covers topics such as the Global Financial Crisis, the outlook for the Australian economy and what it could mean for you as investors.
Addicted to debt
Rising life expectancy, low savings and rising property prices are driving an Australian addiction to debt. We will first explore how the nation’s changing population, attitudes and economy has shaped how we spend, save and borrow in the post-war era; and secondly, examine where we are now, and what that could mean for future generations.
Date & Time:
Thursday 29th April
3.30pm presentation (includes afternoon tea) concluding by 5.00pm.
Location
Venue: Colonial First State Boardroom
Address: Level 4, 100 King William Street, Adelaide
RSVP by calling our office on 8364 0066 by 26 April. Places are limited, so please RSVP early to ensure you don’t miss out.
I look forward to seeing you there.
